Harmony Hall Organizing
helping busy people go from cluttered to organized & thriving!
What is your business and the mission of your brand?
Hi there! I'm Sara and I'm a Professional Home Organizer and owner of Harmony Hall Organizing. Our mission is to rescue people from drowning in clutter and give them back the spaces they love.
What made you want to start this business? What’s YOUR story?!
I was always a messy person. Whether it was being late for work because I spent 30 minutes looking for my keys or forgetting their part of the group project at home, my disorganization was a constant burden on myself and those around me. So, when I found myself in an airport about to leave on my honeymoon, I picked up a book called "The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up" by Marie Kondo and it truly changed my life. I found hope that I could change. I found hope that I didn't have to feel like I was treading water anymore. That feeling was so empowering that once I got my own life in order - I wanted to share it with everyone. And my clients can tell you, that kind of freedom is priceless.
WhAt is one piece of advice that has propelled you and your business?
Keep moving forward. There are always going to be ups and downs. There are always going to be people who think you can't do it. But you can make the choice to move forward and learn how to improve both professionally and personally.
Do you have a specific quote/mantra/verse that propels you in harder times?
"Business Takes Time" I've always been the kind of person who wants instant results and instant success. But that is not the reality of any venture worth building. Learning, growing, and building a good business takes time, and that's a good thing. It gives you the space to grow into the role you envision for yourself. So trust in the process, do your best, and let God take care of the rest.
How do you incorporate your faith into your business?
I'm so grateful to work with the clients I do. So many are in the throws of a messy, busy, crazy life and just need a little helping hand. In these moments, the compassion of Jesus is my guiding principle. I do my best to show all my clients an abundance of compassion and help them have compassion for themselves. I work with clients from all walks of life, beliefs, and backgrounds, but the need for true compassion is universal and I hope to bring that to every person I meet.
