My business is Weaver’s Boutique. Our mission is to use our GOD given gifts to enhance your natural beauty, all while spreading the Gospel any which way we can.
What made you want to start this business? What’s YOUR story?!
The testimony behind Weaver’s Boutique is a unique one truly written by GOD Himself. I, Nesta, was born in Haiti, at the age of 7 my Earthly father went on to be with my Heavenly Father. He was a phenomenal entrepreneur. I witnessed him for 7 years and that was enough to give me a drive to be an entrepreneur myself.
That dream of mine did not give birth into the physical until I had my beautiful daughter Esthanaïda Emma who was born at 34 weeks. At about 7 months old, I had a great routine down and I started to get my strength back. I really wanted to do something other than just “being a mom” which indeed is enough too, ladies.
I am a very active, creative and driven person and the LORD sought my heart and saw that my intentions are for my future generations. My beautiful daughter(s), my handsome son(s), my grandchildren, great-grandchildren and so on..
He introduced me to polymer clay earrings through an amazing friend of mine. I fell in love… ordered my first polymer clay starter kit on Amazon the minute I got the green light from the Holy Spirit to start creating. Since, He has been faithful and has led and guided me to wonderful, beautiful people/friendships I will cherish with all of my heart. He is a good, good Father Matthew 7:7-8
What is one piece of advice that has propelled you and your business?
One piece of advice that has propelled me in my business is the life long connections and faith conversations I have each time I participate in a vendor/craft event.
What is something you wished you had known when you first started?
I wished I would've known to slow down and take my time
