Taking Back the Rainbow!

~ A 2 part mini book. ~

• NOAH'S Faith:
"By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith." Hebrews 11:7

I'm so awestruck that a man would literally commit over 75 years of his life to build this & save his people because "God told me so." Amazing, unwavering faith. I want to be Noah when I grow up.

• GOD'S PROMISES: .
"I promise I'll make it to your game." "I promise I'll be there. Don't worry." I promise, just trust me." "I promise that I'll spend the rest of my life with you."

All these promises have been broken. We make promises, think they don't hold any weight, don't keep them, and it's a big deal..

The rainbow signifies that God will never destroy the earth by flood again, but I also think it's a beautiful reminder that He keeps a l l his promises. .

At the end of the day, it's not about us, or even about Noah, but about a sovereign God that is love, and He never breaks his promise.

I'm so thankful for a God that keeps every single one of his promises, and then paints it across the sky just to prove it. How cool is he. & that's the tea on the rainbow.

I’m reminded that no matter what path I take in my life, I’m still in God’s hand. I need to BE STILL & KNOW. He’s so big & I know that I’m not powerful enough to mess his plans up.

When I look up to the sky & see a rainbow I hear God whisper "Look. I promise."
